Sachin Gupta lawyer filed a Criminal Defamation complaint against veteran actor Mukesh Khanna.
Caught on Camera & Copy: Mukesh Khanna’s Contradictory Same-Day Statements Form Core of Criminal Defamation Complaint.
MUMBAI - Shocking digital evidence has emerged in the
ongoing legal battle between veteran actor Mukesh Khanna and producer Sachin
Gupta. A criminal defamation complaint filed at the Malvani Police Station has
exposed a massive contradiction in statements made by Khanna across his
official social media platforms on the exact same day.
The complaint, filed under Section 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 by Advocate Raghavendra S. Mehrotra, reveals that on September 2, 2025, Khanna executed a highly damaging digital flip-flop that forms the absolute foundation of the criminal case against him.
The
Same-Day Social Media Flip-Flop
According to the legal complaint, on September 2,
2025, Mukesh Khanna released a video statement on his official YouTube channel
categorically claiming that he did not even know what "Bhishma
Production" was, explicitly painting the firm as an unauthorized,
fraudulent stranger.
Yet, on that very same day, Khanna took to his verified Facebook wall and published a detailed written post that completely contradicted his video. On Facebook, Khanna openly admitted his direct involvement with the production house, writing:
"Maine kisi ko Bhishma ke naam se YouTube channels chalane ko diya tha. Bahut YouTube channels ki shuruat hui. Jaise (Bhishma Production, Bhishma Music etc.) Mere Bheeshm International ke YouTube se video clippings use hueen . Mujhe uske jisko diya tha kaam karne ka tareeka pasand naheen aaya. Main apne damon se kaam karta hoon. So maine wo sub naye YouTube channels band karne ka orde jaari kiya. Lekin wo band naheen kar raha aur chala raha hai. Iska mujhe objection hai. Meri koi video wo use karega to main action loonga."
Silence
from the Actor Mukesh Khanna
The complaint highlights that a formal legal notice
was sent to Khanna on June 24, 2026. Over two months have passed, and Khanna’s
absolute silence and failure to respond are being viewed by the complainant's
counsel as a clear admission of guilt.
The Malvani Police have been urged to register the complaint and initiate immediate punitive action against Khanna for tarnishing the reputation and professional goodwill of Bhishma Production.
An
Unanswered Legal Deadline
The complaint notes that Sachin Gupta invested ₹23,00,000 into co-producing 44 episodes of “The MK Show” and “Sanatan Manch” based on Khanna’s word. Following the defamatory posts, a formal legal notice was sent to Khanna on June 24, 2026.Mukesh Khanna has reportedly maintained absolute silence and failed to reply to the legal notice for over two months. The complainant's counsel argues that this prolonged silence, combined with the undeniable same-day digital footprint from September 2025, constitutes a clear prima facie case of criminal defamation that requires immediate police intervention.
Mukesh
Khanna Withdraw His False Case at Mumbai High Court and Ignore Mediation Court
Notice
Before taking the dispute to social media, Mukesh
Khanna had approached the Bombay High Court, filing a formal lawsuit in which
he boldly claimed that Bhishma Production was his own company. However, his
legal pursuit quickly collapsed. After dragging the matter for 7 months, Khanna
abruptly withdrew his case from the High Court. Furthermore, when the court
issued official mediation notices to resolve the dispute amicably, Khanna
failed to attend the proceedings, completely abandoning the legal forum he
initiated.
